Because of the history, this should be rated a five, but due to the lack of upkeep is why we rated it low. From what we understand the aluminum company owns it. But it should be taken over by someone and taken care of it so others can learn the importance of this area with Christopher Columbus setting foot here... More

Interesting and free museum along the road! Stop and plan a visit! It doesn't take much of your time but when there you travel back in time. Nice to explore!

Right on the side of the road. Can not miss it. The guide points out a place in the bay where the water is "different". Fresh water entering the bay from an inland river for Columbus. So interesting. I am glad I did not miss this. Not much to it. Only took a minute and I loved it. Has all... More

We stopped and got a chance to see the Columbus Landng site. Has many artifacts out in the open. The view is amazing.

A lovely little outside museum with great views of the bay. A nice bar to get drinks and snacks and whilst visiting they had a Reggae Band playing, which made it that bit more special.

Enjoyed the tour with Victor. Keep in mind that the tour guides dont get paid a salary so kind of expect something at the end. Overall the tour was an informational session of artifacts dated back to when Christopher Columbus "discovered" Jamaica.

On a recent cruise ship excursion, we stopped off here on the way to Secrets Falls. Probably spent about 1/2 hour. Our excursion guide told us that we could take the "tour", or just walk around ourselves. The "tour" guide was extremely persuasive, so we let him do his thing. As many have stated in previous reviews, the scenery is... More

We hired a driver to take us to Dunns River Falls & he stopped at Columbus Park for us to take photos. The scenery was gorgeous. It is an informative open-air museum which is free & a worthwhile visit if you like history. In addition to the following, there is more to see. A water wheel The engine carriage from... More
