Short walk to a lovely waterfall, appropriate for all ages.

We stopped unexpectedly at this trail in the Guadeloupe National Park and really enjoyed our short walk to the falls.

Just 700 meters from the parking lot, this waterfall is for those that don't want a hike. The path is paved all the way, the waterfall is lovely, and there is a shallow pool in which to get wet. Not sure if one can really swim. The waterfall is in the shade, but the nearby stream was sunny and had... More

Visited as part of cruise excursion, and whilst a nice fall I would not say it was impressive. During my carribean visit saw better ones. It was however a gree attraction. People were swimming but it does not look inviting.

If you are going by then stop and have a look - short stroll from the parking, decent disabled access, small fall and pool - often crowded - go early or late. Or better go to a different one - more effort, bigger falls, bigger pools, without the throng of people and much more rewarding!

We stopped here after visiting plage de la malendure as there were parking spots later in the afternoon. It was a nice short walk to the falls..it was rainy when we visited but on a nice hot day I'm sure a dip in the cold waters would be fun and refreshing. There are also picnic tables on the other side... More

This is a nice quick stop and walk with easy access, but the waterfall is only so-so. Kinda of small, and the crowds make it not so peaceful. People were wading but it did not look that inviting. Parking is not great, but you can wait till someone pulls out.

The cascade itself is great to see. It is well indicated from the mountain road and easy to reach. Parking spot is clear and there is also a little boutique where you can buy tourist rubbish. The "hike" itself takes under 5 minutes from the parking area and the road is very well made, so it's easy to walk even... More

This little watetfall is worth about an hour's distraction unless you pack a picnic then you could spend hours having lunch in a pristine location. There is a beautiful river that runs right buy the waterfall that everyone plays around in. The river is shallow and full of beautiful rocks and clear cold water.

Worth a quick stop as you drive over the middle of the island, free parking is limited but quickly available as the falls only take a few minutes along a paved access, no problem for sandals, falls are nothing special really but you get a feel of the rain forest as you walk in, a dip in the pool is... A lovely place to see and photograph one of the waterfalls in the National Park. It was very wet when we stopped . 10 min heavy shower, but this made it feel like the real rain forest it is.
