Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

a nice natural pool, high waves and a view along the coast. We had double rainbows when it started to rain. A place where you don't mind to getwet

To head to Pointe des Chateaux and not stop here simply makes no sense - while both completely different, and you pass literally La Douche enroute to Pointe des Chateaux, both depict the power of the ocean and provide a relaxing, almost spiritual alike experience.
I tried to fix the location of La Douche here already 3 times... it still shows incorrectly around St Francois marina... simply use Google Maps and it's EXACTLY!!! where it shows - just stop along the road, where everything looks the same which I found funny at first, go through one of the pathways through the bushes and literally within a minute or two you will be facing the ocean and be present at La Douche!
During our visit a gentleman with his kids was enjoying the bath in the actual natural swimming pool and was super cool to see how everyone was enjoying it - it almost felt like a rollercoaster experience, you know it's scary and crazy but somehow you feel "everything is under control..." somewhat here as well... but if you do end up in that natural pool do exercise caution - it is mother nature you will be facing after all... powerful and unpredictable!
TIP: again, I want to emphasize follow the Google Maps marker for La Douche - and stop as soon as you come to it on the map guided by the GPS signal - I told someone and they missed it where I know for fact it was correct because a day before we did it

After we parked our car, we went to the beach where the "La Douche" was located.
I had my camera and took a lot of pictures.
The ocean waves were attaching the rocks, like a shower. Wow!
I stood there for 45 minutes.
This was my favorite highlight for the day!
This is a must see.
P.S. I would not recommend to be near the "La Douche,"

Iconic site not to be missed. We went at 7am: nobody around and beautiful broken waves
Immortalizing a beautiful stage of our lives. Got it!

It is a very beautiful place where there is a pleasant little pool for swimming with a water geyser.
Everyone calls it the shower but the real name of the place is Anse a Chaud.

Rather expensive, for what we were served. The fish is okay, nothing more, the salads are lacking and tasteless.
Mussels, shrimps and chatrou, the same taste that is to say none.
Also lack of seasoning.
We knew this establishment in previous years and we are disappointed. That said we will return there maybe it was an accident.

A great place...
Too much fun in the shower, be careful with children because the ebb of the wave is significant. Really to do

We were there early in the morning after a visit to Pointe des Chateaux. It's really worth it. You can still find a shady spot and have the small stretch of beach to yourself.
