Very educational

Buy your herbs roadside rather than waiting until this venue since they don't have much selection. Cool to see herbs growing in a natural environment.

On previous visits a couple of years ago, the guides were obviously bored out of their skulls. The recited the spiel without any expression of interest. This time the more mature guide took time to explain and describe things - quite an improvement. And it deserves the improvement. Laura's Herb Garden has a huge collection of herbs and spices both... Very cool place. Guide offers you a tour and let you touch, rub, taste various plants, herbs, leaves, roots....Enjoyable visit. One could see the spices we get in the supermarket in their natural state of existance and learn a bit of what it takes to make them field-to-market. Some are easy-pick, dry, sell. Others take more steps and know-how. In... More

Very low key, but also very informative. A little tricky to find - we drove ourselves out from Lane Aux Epines & wondered if we were in the right place. Laura (I think it was her) was showing another couple around the garden and asked us to wait a bit as she finished up. She walked us around the garden... More

We went to learn about he local herbs and spices and were not disappointed. Our guide knew a great deal about the herbs and their medicinal uses. It was fascinating. It wasn't a long tour maybe about 40 mins but well worth it.

I had in mind UK-garden centre but could not have been further from the truth. As with most things in Grenada, we were the only people there. EC$5.[something] per person for entry and guide. The guide was incredibly knowledgable (probably due to having repeated the same lines many times) - but it captivated both myself and the family. I simply... More
