There was a short hill up to the Fort and a steel band was playing at the top with the music was very entertaining. Once at the fort we were meet by a guide who told us all about the history of the fort and walked us around pointing out the views as we went. It is very much a... More

We were at Fort Frederick twice. The first time it was cloudy, the second time the sun was shining. The latter was definitely the better time. The views are incredible. There's not really much left of the fort. We did have the quick tour with Alice in Wonderland. What a beautiful person. Meeting Alice was worth the stop alone.

Interesting Fort, gave good prospective of the island and defending it. Tour guide Alice (in wonderland) made it very positive. Steep climb to top with stairs.

We stopped here as part of a tour and it was a good photo stop but that's pretty much it. There's not really much educational material or signs or anything explaining what you're looking at. The views are pretty awesome, though.

We recently sailed on Royal Caribbean and our excursion tour guide did not do the fort justice. We were dropped off , issued a ticket and told to return in 20 minutes. It took 5 minutes to go through the gate and another 5 to walk up the first hill. There was no time to explore the fort and hear... More

Don't expect this to be amazing but it's a little bit of Grenadian history that is left. It has amazing views. Definitely come for the views!

Fort Frederick is one of the best forts in Grenada. A bit of a walk to the entrance but worth it once you get inside. Cannons, views, history and height. There is even a look out point with chairs. Great for pictures of the coastline as well as picturesque backdrops.
