BBC Beach is a great beach with fewer people than Grand Anse. Wonderful sand and almost a glassy sea on the day we were there. Hardly noticeable is a great beach bar about half way to the end. Don't miss Rocky's! Sometimes he is open and sometimes he isn't. When he is there you will find perfect rum punches and wonderful conversations. The people who hang out at Rocky's are almost as interesting as Rocky himself. if there is an important football (soccer) match going on, it will be playing on his TV.…

During our week on the island we spent most mornings here. It tends not to be crowded, has calm clear waters, and great sunset views.

This hidden beach is totally worth the hike! We walked from our hotel Seabreeze Hotel to this beach with our 6 year old son. We followed the Google Maps directions but then found the short cut on our way back. For future visitors, when hiking / walking to find this beach your land mark will be Mariposa Hotel. When you see this sign take the road that descends it will lead you straight to the beach. Don't go over the ridge it's a longer way. The beach is must smaller than Grand Anse and I preferred it. Not a lot of tourists and there are public bars where you can get eats and drinks. The water is very calm and clear. There are chair rentals on the beach.…

Known locally as BBC Beach, this is a great spot to stretch out and relax. Lounge chairs in sun or shade were available for rent for about five bucks. The water was very calm and clear for swimming but not good for snorkeling. Restrooms and a local bar right there, near Sur La Mar hotel. Natives selling clothes and jewelry but they don’t intrude. Only problem: a booze cruise boat came and unloaded a crowd, but they only stayed for about an hour. Windstar was docked in the harbor at Saint Georges so we had to take a $25 taxi ride to and from the beach, which is the same price to go to any of the other beaches. I understand that some of the cruise ships dock in a different area near the water taxi which is much less expensive. We stopped to see Grand Anse and didn’t like it, no charm, just big. It’s all in what you’re looking for. If what you want is a quiet relaxing beautiful beach with more locals than tourists,,?you’re at the right spot.…
