Took the tour with my wife and we both wanted to drive so we opted for the ATV vs. Buggy. Took us to a plantation with a little gig about the Cocoa (chocolate), Arabica coffee, tobacco and Macajuanna. They give you some samples and try and sell you some. I bought some cigars and they were great! Next we went to Macao beach which I also reviewed but in short it's cool. Lastly we went to a Cenote "Water cave" were you could swim in a very small beautiful cave with baby blue waters. It was quite packed though and way too many people at once in a small area in my opinion, with this happening during Covid restrictions. All in all a good time and I would recommend. …

This was in the mountains which I wanted a chance to see. Picked us up from a resort in punta cana. The drive took about 45 minutes through some small towns which was nice to see the some of the country. The vehicle was a large suv. It was like having 2 tours in one with the drive. It was raining the day before and the day of so it was a muddy mess. Bring shoes you're okay walking through some streams with. The guide showed us lots of different trees. The hike was about 3 miles. Beautiful views throughout. …

We had a great day out. Angel, our guide was knowledgeable and entertaining. Nico our driver was very hospitable and great at handing out the rum! This trip is a must for anyone wanting to experience the Dominican culture. Thanks for an awesome day!

Our family of 5, 3 kids ages 13, 12, and 9, all had a great day with Angel and Vlad. The weather was not the greatest but that didn't stop the tour. We were on a relaxing vacation in a resort but I wanted my kids to see more of what the country actually looks like and how the people live. We were greeted by Angel, the guide, and Vlad the driver at our resort where they picked us up. During the drive to the first stop Angel provided us with TONS of history about the Dominican Republic. Lots of stuff we never knew. The stop at the school was awesome for my kids and since I had been to Puerta Plata before, we brought a bunch of school supplies and my younger 2 kids handed them directly to the teacher, who was so gracious. The next few stops about coconuts, coffee, and chocolate were also very informative. Lunch was a family style of great food! Our stop at the river was not the greatest since they were having some unusual weather which had caused a lot of rain making the river cloudy and muddy. Some still did go swimming. Drinks were plentiful despite the rain. I would highly recommend this tour and do the full day experience. I chose this based on other reviews and so glad we did!…
