Such a pretty little street. Great for photos and lots of little cafes nearby. Stopped in the 1920 by Cariatides restaurant for some delicious sangria.

This is a quick stop for some fun photos. It isn't too far from the town square, so it is easy to see Puerto Plata's colorful town square, this street, and the pink street just another block area.

Saw this place on a post on one of my social media pages and decided I wanted to see it for myself. Really cool looking street. Not much to it besides the umbrellas, they have some shops on the street and tables from cafes you can sit and enjoy outside. If you are already in the area definitely take a walk on over and take some pictures its worth it. …

We did a quick stop by bus, and wish I could take some interesting photos off the bus. Simple yet effective way to get your attention! Your Holland America shore excursion will likely pass by this street.

One wonders how a street with umbrellas could be so interesting until, that is, he spends some time in Puerto Plata in general. It is a street... with umbrellas... and loud music. A few blocks south and you’ll find a gem of a street in the rough: the Malecon.
