If you are looking for first class, look elsewhere. Food, rooms, transportation need improvement. Staff expect lots of daily tips. Paying for the onsite food is mandatory. Watered down drinks and cheap rum flows freely but tip. Lots of pools that you can not go to. Nightly entertainment that you can not see from the distant seating. If you do not mind algae at the pool waterfal no problem. If you are okay withdirty scarred marble floors with mold on the side it is wonderful. All is well if you do not look too close. Somewhat like getting dressed up without baathing. The attraction does not come with the hotel package.…

While staying at the Royal Suites @ Lifestyle Holidays and we were very disappointed in the beech. It was extremely narrow meaning only about 10-15' wide because they have developed right up tot he edge. It was dirty with lots of trash. It wasn't very long I bet you could only walk a mile or so. We stayed in Playa Cabarete at an Air BNB and were so spoiled by the absolutely beautiful beech. It was super wide, clean and it seemed like we could walk forever. I'd skip Confresi and head to Playa Cabarete!…

It's a great beach with gentle waves and shade to enjoy. There are lounge chair vendors, local stores, and restaurants right there - steps away. You will have a great time!

For the most part, Cofresi Beach from the Point down to Ocean World is broken up with Lifestyles resorts, Cofresi Palm Resort, and the local beach which becomes over-ridden with locals Sat. and Sundays..Mostly sandy but rocky in spots...OK but, just average.
