It is a nice place to stop and go for a hike. Avoid the vendors. They are blood suckers!! You can get cold drink and snacks which is good.

Huge statue and a great sight after the cable car :) It is a few minutes walk once you arrive from the cable car and the first thing to see before following signs to explore other landmarks.

Beautiful ride up the mountain where the views go on for miles. When up on top there are MANY photo opportunities as well as a cave and gardens to walk through. There is a restaurant and a bar as well as a few gift shops....More

The trip to the monument looks scarier than it actually is. The ride up was pleasant. Looking over the city from that height was amazing. Cold drinks, even water should be available when you reach the top. I took pictures.

We are going on a Princess Cruise. We will be there one day 7am -3pm at Amber Cove. Is there a way to get to Mount Isabel de Torres from the ship area? Is there anything else to do near there?

I noticed on their web site that it says the tours are on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. We will be there on a Tuesday. Can you catch a cab up there on a "closed" day? And without the hiking? Thanks in advance for any help.
