We arrived in Amber cove in the morning, greeted by loud music! There are shore excursions but we had been there before. the. The port has been developed to a shopping location, nothing to buy worth anything, but it was a chance to get off the ship and walk around. When another ship is in port at the same time, it is very busy crowded . Ok for a port callk, but nt a long stay. Reference CODV- 19, it was not mention by the ship or local personnel. If you go I would check at your home to see what the latest is.…

I advise taking a shore excursion. They have the same stores selling you the same merchandise as every other port and on-board the ship. There is no beach on the property, you have to take an excursion or a cab to a beach which will cost approximately $10 per person one way, by cab. You have to walk pretty far off their property to get to local cabs. There is nothing nearby you can walk to. If you stay at the port complex; which is new and clean, you're not getting the true feeling of the island. Of course a lot of people are worried to go out and explore on their own. That's the only way to get the true feeling of the area. Sp, be brave people-you just might learn something and enjoy yourself !!…
