A very nice place to walk around and enjoy the weather. During the night the place changes with locals having a very good time. Swing by and have fun!

Sad to see a place that should be gorgeous just left to rot. Too dangerous to visit at night, garbage piling up on shore. I LOVE Santo Domingo and love the DR, but this was unfortunate.

It is very nice to walk, around the big international hotels (like Sheraton, Catalonia, Jaragua) because it is safe. But if you look down to the shore, you will see all kind of trash, rats, old abandon clothes and shoes, disgusting, People does not care...More

The Malecon was where we would end our days during our visit to Santo Domingo. We had a family of 5 with kids from the teens to 6 years old. This is a great people watching spot and a chance to soak up the culture...More

Hay una pequeña playa llamada Guibia pero no está limpia ni bien cuidada. Tiene una hermosa vista, pero no se recomienda nadar allí. Yo creo que está cerrado.
