Out catamaran was anchored in Rosseau and we dinghies over for some snorkeling. Awesome place with lots of fish, corals and squids. Be sure to stop by Bubbly Beach for a hot soak and cold beers.

We'll worth doing! Snorkeling here was like being in an aquarium with sparkling columns of bubbles streaming up all around! The map may say "Champagne Beach" but stop at the sign that says "Champagne Reef" for snorkeling/diving access. We rented snorkel gear for around $12 each. There is also a small park entrance fee. There are snacks/beverages for sale and... More

One of my favorite experiences in diving. We dove the reef and it was beautiful with a lot of active sea life. A great place for a family to snorkel as well.

Did snorkelling at this place part of a tour with a local company. It was amazing. The corals, the fish, the bubbles....Maybe the only drawback was getting in and out of the water as the beach is covered with big stones thus can be a bit tricky for some people when other groups are using the "easier" pathway in/out of... During my nine day visit on Dominica I visited champagne read three times----one by land and two by sea (diveboat). This is a must visit and it is gorgeous.... If you come by the land wear some comfortable read shoes because it is Rocky down to the beach.

There are not really words for the bubbles coming up out of the ocean hitting you. Kind of like getting the shivers all over. The fish are plentiful and diverse. The reef is large and renting snorkeling gear was very affordable. Hours of fun.

I came in a bit late afternoon around 4pm by taking the local taxi bus. The journey costed me 2 ec, and maybe 1/2 an hour of the ride from the capital. The beach itself is not so special since it consists of pebbles and stones. Apparently there was a tsunamy that washed away all the sand. You enter the... More

Great snorkeling! Good visibility and amazing bubbles. Really fun and unique experience! Its not a sandbeach so its not that plesent to stay there for just sunbathing. The bubbles are close to land, and the main reef is a short swin out. We went there two times when there was no cruise ship in town (highly recommended), we where almost... More
