I had a picnic lunch with a few friends here on a Sunday afternoon and it was a beautiful and peaceful experience. Aside from the occasional car driving through the gardens there isn't much traffic.

It was amazing to see the tree that smashed a bus and the other unique trees and flowers. Check out the bamboo house.

As keen gardeners / botanists / horticulturalists, there was really very little to see. It's essentially a park with some nice trees. To call it a botanic gardenia stretching things somewhat!

The bamboo plant is also outstanding. You'll find several species that are not local to Dominica in addition to local species. Well maintained and it has a cricket pitch if you fancy sitting to watch a game. The closest you'll get to nature if you're...More

The plants were lovely, but not well labelled. It would have been nice to have a guide. The school bus was interesting - flattened during a hurricane - miraculously, it was empty at the time. Dominica looks a lovely island, but we couldn't get to...More

We walked up from the Cruise Port, the views are lovely and gardens are pleasant, it is a quite a walk but worth it.

We walked through the botanical gardens then hiked up to Morne Bruce. There's not much to see in the botanical gardens by themselves.

A plethora of tropical plants and the two types of parrots make this a must visit place .if there is a cricket match ongoing would be a nice afternoon out.
