The Christoffelpark is a nature park with a one-way road that leads you along Mount Christoffel. There is a rough trail to the top of this mountain and climbing this trail is a challenge. But once you're on the top the view is spectacular. On...More

We made it to the top. It was definitely a case of “mind over matter”. The view at the top is spectacular. My advice is to come early in the morning preferably not after a rainfall, bring lots of water, wear good hiking shoes and...More

Let me start by saying that there are other trails that one can trek that don’t go up the mountain. We chose to climb the mountain. It was really steep and rocky, but very well marked. There are two benches to stop and rest on...More

You might have a nice experience at Christoffel Park if you drive in, pay the fee, drive around to see the attractions, and never make comments, suggestions, or need help. However, if you attempt to see the park without a car, and use the park's...More

Hiked Mt. Christoffel. Not an easy hike, especially at the top. Wear good footwear and take plenty of water. Some of the areas require a large step/climb on rocks. We did it on a rainy day which made terrain more slippery. Excellent view from the...More

A friend and I did the hike to the top of Mount Christoffel. We are are not very experienced hikers so it took us a lot longer than expected. (Around 1.5hrs each way.) It was incredibly hot and then rained making the rocks really slippery....More

We started around 7am which was a good time. It had rained the night before so was a little slick in some spots and pretty steep but definitely worth it once you reach the top. Would definitely recommend!

We hiked within the park itself, out to the wild edge near Boca Tabla, and this was truly mesmerizing and gorgeous. We then drove the loop around the mountain (as we had gotten there too late to do the hike up - you have to...More

This was a beautiful climb! Go earthly 8 to beat the heat. Bring a little backpack to put your water in so that you can have your hands free for the last part of the climb. It is rather steep for the last 10 minutes...More

There are 2 loups available in the park. We did the lower loop which was shorter. Very well marked for the lookout spots and roads in good condition. Abit steep at times but the diversity of the scenery as you drive is interesting. Caves with...More

We rented a car and did the hike ourselves. It was great. No need to join a group, you will meet people as you hike.
