We did some shopping around and acme to realize that Punda is a bit more pricier than Otrobanda, but still reasonable.

Eventhough I am a lical person, I do not live in Curacao. But evertime I visit my Island i must go visit Willemstad. The capital of Curacao. This place is always in motion. Getting more beautiful and modern everytime I visit. The local people you meet are very nice and the shops are affordable compared to elswere on the Island

The town is beautiful. All the colorful houses. Make sure to take your photos in front of Curacao sign. Better to go Sunday afternoon or evening for empty streets. It was almost a ghost town. Also drive outside the main town to see how people live. The sunset was amazing.

So much to see and visit! Tons of food and drinks to try! The floating bridge is very cool and a beautiful view! The floating market is really neat and you should definitely check it out! A lot of culture is around this area and tons to check out! Love the colorful city!

Lots of shops selling typical souvenirs and regular name brand stores, quite a few restaurants. I'd say spending the better part of an afternoon or morning is enough to see Punda. Beware of the homeless folks trying to "befriend" you. Cruise ship days were definitely safer than non-ship days (more people around).

If you rent a car to go to the national park at the North end of island. You will probable drive thru this town at least once before realizing the road signs are wrong. We did it twice. Just head north! This is the small shopping city before you walk across the bridge to Willemstad.

We walked from the cruise terminal , through a courtyard with brightly coloured stores and to a bridge that swings. You can wait until the bridge is ready to walk across, this happens every half hour or so, or you can take a ferry across,( the ferry is free). It was surreal to see the boats on the water with... There's not much to do here, but it's all part of where Curacao 'started'. It's nice to see the cute buildings, the shops (which are all the same and aimed at tourists only) and the little boat-market.
