While on a recent cruise we spent a day in Curacao. Although there were plenty of tours offered we opted to rent a car and drive up to Cas Abou Beach, NOT the beach the cruise ship was taking people to. We got there early...More

Beautiful beach with white sand, some shade, a dive center and bar/cantine. The reef is pretty for divers to explore. Beach can get pretty crowded during afternoons. 5 USD entrance fee per car. Suitable for little children as well.

We stopped here for a couple of hours while we were driving around the island in our rental car. It was a decent beach with bathrooms and other amenities. However, it was nothing really special compared to some other beaches. There was a lot of...More

Entrance fee is 7 USD. There is a food/snack/bar area and restrooms. The beach is too rocky though. You will need sea shoes to be able to enjoy the water. We didn't know we would need sea shoes and going in and out of water...More

This beach is stunning. A $6 entrance fee for each car plus $3 per lounge chair. The sand is very fine and the water is beautiful. Small bar/grill with limited menu and a dive shop. Showers and restrooms are kept pretty clean. Great afternoon place...More

The beach was great! Crystal clear water with pearly white sound. Some areas of the beach are a little rocky, but other areas are sandy. The water is full of aquatic life which is great for snorkelling, which can be provided at the store on...More

Beach was large but not sprawling, gorgeous white sand, and stunning turquoise water. Quieter than the other beaches I visited, and more beautiful. Easy to get to if staying on the west side of the island, highly recommend.

We rented a car which in my opinion was convenient and quite cheap, taxis are rather expensive. At the port you can find taxi easily.
