Well worth the very inexpensive cost of admission. My wife and I went with our 4 year old daughter and our 1 year old son. We enjoyed the fish, the marine mammal shows, the pool/splash pad, and the restaurant. One wall of the restaurant is...More

The place is not the best because you can notice it's poorly maintained but if your real wish is to enjoy a family visit and to show to your children many sea species you can't see nowhere else, it's good. There are several shows to...More

Now undergoing restoration, this delightful outpost at the end of Miramar is a must for a visit for families with children or those interested in conservation. Cuba has an eviable record of conservation (see New York Times article on 3 july 2015)

We first arrived there a day that was raining, so we thought that visiting the Aquarium will be a nice idea........ohhh we were so wrong. First of all, the place is located close to Miramar, so we are speaking of the supposedly big aquarium in...More

The Acuario is another example of the incredible energy they had right after the revolution, with a wonderful mix of education and entertainment that must have been really new to the majority of Cubans back then ("the masses"). After 50+ years though, it is still...More

Come on give this place a break in your reviews. It's not Orlando and maybe does not have the same standards, but I really enjoyed my visit to this place. The displays were good, the ambience was great and it was great value. Interact with...More
