No guide for this stop off, but monument is quite impressive, great photo op. I understand there's a lot of history behind this but unfortunately didn't know about it ahead of time. Plenty of old car taxis in the area too.

We experienced a wonderful guide that was excellent at sharing local history to those unfamiliar with the revolution or Jose Marti.

Jose Marti was the martyr, who became the symbol of Cuba's struggle for independence from Spain in the 1800's. He is the Cuban National Hero.

Do not miss this opportunity! The 360 degree view is spectacular. We went up on a clear day and felt we could almost see all the way to Florida. We happened to be up at the top as a docent was escorting an individual around...More

We stopped here as part of a tour. The guide explained to us the history behind the monument. We didn't go inside, just admired it from the parking lot across the street.

I️ only took the double decker tour bus to hop off hop on from 9-7 for 10 CUC. The double decker takes you to all the important places in Havana and the view from the top is perfect to capture the moment with a photo. Look... More

When we went, we flew JetBlue. They made it so easy. Filled out forms with JetBlue online and picked up visas when we landed in Ft. Lauderdale.
