I agree with some of the reviews below: not a destination, but well worth a look if you are in the area. If I recall correctly, there are over 3,000 buildings here, each faithfully represented in painstaking detail.

We were wandering about when we came across this small museum, not in our guide book. A staff member, Jorge, came out to explain that there was a scale replica of the city inside, and also that there was a viewing balcony, and recommended we...More

Hidden in suburbia this scale replica of the city is truly a labour of love and art. Not a destination but if near by stop and look.

The attention to detail of this scale model of Havana was incredible. Apparently it took over a decade to assemble the miniature out of Habano cigar boxes, cardboard, sponge, plastic and sand. Locals can visit and with binoculars try and find landmarks or their own...More

We didn't have a professional guide like another reviewer; one of the workers at the attraction came in and spoke for a few minutes, basically pointing out a few landmarks like the various squares and the cathedral. Without more knowledge of the city, this attraction...More

This was a family project that took its members several years to complete. It is a to-scale re-creation of the city. I read that it was "dusty" and needed work, but I didn't see that at all. They have a laser pointer available for help...More

Very interesting model of the entire city. Great for viewing everything from above. Also some interesting maps around the walls. There are free to use telescope around the room to view everything in detail. Think is meant to be 3 CUCs for entry and 2...More

This project was begun in the late 1980's and it has not been thoroughly completed yet since Havana is a big city (400 square miles). This model is a must for those wanting to understand the layout and growth of the city since it was...More

The model of old town Havana is definitely worth a visit. It represents the old, historic part of town. We were told that the model is quite accurate, down to the correct color on the buildings. It gives you a good feel for the layout...More

Hello! Lonely Planet says this is located at 114 Mercaderes, near the ferry terminals. Google says it's located on Calle 28. Where is this? It looks like something I would really like to see. Thanks.
