It's a very cozy place

It is a very cozy place to hide from the sun and rest on the benches. I was watching with a cigar and some rum for hours, there is plenty to see.

Loved the atmosphere every time but on Saturday they sell real estate and it is very interesting. Very clean, safe and relaxed street.

Featured in the latest Fast & Furious movie, as well as the site for international fashion shows and local celebrations, Paseo del Prado is the place where locals go to people watch. On a nice day the strip is crowded with strolling Cubans young and old, as well as artists showing off their work. It's one of the few places... More

Beautiful median down the middle of the road, with benches and trees along the sides. Cool buildings on either side, and it takes you directly from Parque Central to the coast and the Malecon. Definitely walk down at least once.

In many respects this is nothing more than a linear park down the middle of a boulevard, but it is a great place to walk and /or sit. Early evening it is full of both tourists and locals getting out to enjoy the fresh air.

Stroll down this wide avenue and soak in the atmosphere of the old buildings on either side. It's a pleasant walk all the way down to the Malecon where you can walk along the water's edge. Do this in the evening and witness some great Havana atmosphere.

You can walk a mile on the Paseo and live through 500 years of Cuban history. A must do for any new visitor to Habana.

A place we spend part of each day on - sitting and watching the people, including school children doing their gym classess and artists displaying their wares (once or twice a week). Lovely benches to sit on, beautiful sculptures - some of the old trees have been cut down but they are gradually being replaced by new ones so the... More
