This stop was just part of our cruise package but really didn't add to the experience. Pulmantur should add a different destination.

The Fortress in Bonaire is perhaps the most interesting place in Bonaire. Of course the island is known for diving however this is worth the visit

Nothing much to write about the Fort. Can't go in so just photos from and around the exteriors. It's part of the Bonaire port skyline. Quaint little town/port. You can stroll in and around town under an hour, shopping, drinking and eating excluded of course....More

We love seeing old forts but this one was very disappointing. I didn't take any pictures (95% of my reviews I post pictures). If you are just staying in town then I would take the few mins to walk around the small portions that you...More

This small fort is easy to notice from your cruise ship. Nice and quaint. You can go inside and look around....will take about 5 minutes of your time. Since you are there you might as well take a look around.

There is really nothing here to see, you cannot tour the Fort and the cannnons were from a shipwreck, not the Fort. I would have expected more, maybe in the future this can be expanded.

Hard to miss as it's across from the terminal but worth walking around to see the colors & architecture.

The fort is directly across from the cruise ship docks. There isn't a formal tour but it's worth walking around and reading the plaques. The grounds are well maintained and the color of the buildings make it stand out.

Recommended as one of the few things we could do from our cruise ship docked off Kralendijk. While I have to admire the Bonairians for not catering to tourists in keeping attractions like this open on Sundays or holidays just because cruise ships are in...More

You'll have to check the Internet to find out anything about the fort. The gate was open, so I entered and walked around to see what I could find out about it. Saw the cannons and the view..
