My wife and I have done a decent amount of snorkeling throughout the Carribean, and after visiting Klein Bonaire, agree it was as good as it gets. We were on a cruise, which docked in Bonaire, took a 10 minute water taxi, and snorkled for...More

My husband and I recently visited Klein Bonaire as a port of call on our cruise. We brought our own snorkeling gear, although many places had it available for rent and took a water taxi to the island. We stayed most of the day by...More

This is one of our favourite locations in all of the Caribbean....lots of fish, clean sand, clear water (clearer in the morning) and tons of fish. We look forward to returning next year.

Most beautiful snorkeling trip we ever experienced. Visibility was excellent. Uninhabited Island was pristine. Water taxi ride was enjoyable watching the flying fish. Encountered the most beautiful fish, purple tube coral, 2 spotted snake eels and 1 barracuda... Will definately return.

I visited Klein Island Beach in Bonaire in April 2017. This is some of the clearest and most beautiful water for snorkeling and diving although the underwater areas I saw were dead reef. There are no facilities of any kind on this accessible by boat...More

The island is very flat. You should get a water taxi to take you out there. On cruise ship day, there is a mass of people. Be prepared, the is very little shade and no restrooms. The snorkeling is good and the variety of aquatic...More

You don't need to be an experienced at snorkelling to see lots of amazing fish just off shore. Bring your own gear and plenty of sun cream. Not to be missed

We visited the marine park area of Klein Bonaire for snorkeling. The water is crystal clear and the snorkeling was great. This part of Klein Bonaire needs to be accessed by boat.

Take the water taxi on your own. It leaves on the hour and will take you back to the ship. Pack some water and snacks. The water is amazing. No facilities, but there is a little cover spot.

We are looking at using Woodwind services, or just taking a taxi to Klein Bonaire. If you could choose only one, like we have to do, which would you choose?

How close are the water taxis to the cruise port? Can we walk easily to them?

Response from natslive | Reviewed this property |
Yes it's a short walk from the pier to the water taxis. There are several different companies there. Also tours are offered in the same spot. Prices run $15-20 per person RT.
Do the taxis take you back and forth for the same price? Concerned about no restrooms on the island??

The water taxi's run approximately every 30 minutes but the cost is for one round trip so really no possibility of bathroom breaks
