Even if you know nothing about Polo you should visit the Polo Club. It's not an expensive event and the food and drink are very reasonably priced. Dress code seems to vary from the very smart to the fairly casual. You can sit in the sun or in the shade and the commentary gives you helpful information so that you... More

Had a fantastic time seeing our first polo games! Entrance fee was only $20 Barbados dollars each, setting was comfortable with chairs and tables in the sun and in shaded areas. The seating was well set-up and there were refreshments available for purchase (alcohol and non) as well as hot and cold appetizer type foods. Commentators were fun and explained... More

Whatching Polo matches at Barbados Polo Club was a really nice change to beachlife and watersports. We found the visit a really nice experience and even though we were totally beginners when it comes to the game of polo, local club memebrs were more than happy to guide us to the rules, teams and players backgrounds. There is a bar... More

Had a super day here, drinking champagne and watching the Polo. Both games were exciting. Shame about the rain!

We've been to Holders Polo many times and like it very much. The horses are beautiful and fast. The seating area is very comfortable with constant trade winds and it is shaded. There are delicious food choices available as well.

Stayed at Beach View and took a cab to watch polo. Walked home bc its super close and it's downhill. I thought it was kind of expensive. $20 a head. You get to sit in there little outdoor club house. There is a bar and small snack restaurant. Very over priced but super fun to be there and that being... More

It was a lovely afternoon. We arrived smart/casual but not as dressy as some. My wife will fuss up more next time I understand. A totally new experience for us and we did enjoy both the sport/social aspect of the outing.

I've seen polo before, but it did take away from this experience. Fun, chaotic, rough and ready polo. You're close up as the horses come thundering by. Definitely worth the experience.

If you've never been to a polo match before, Barbados is a great place to start to due it's relaxed format. You won't be looked at strangely and made to feel like you shouldn't be there as can be the case at some clubs in the UK or around the world. The commentary will run you through the rules of...
