Stopped off on an island tour, nice church and the resting place of former Barbadian Prime Minister, the usual small cluster of locals selling souviners

St. John's Anglican parish church is an historic edifice, first established in the 1600's, it sits high atop a cliff on the windward side of Barbados. The panoramic view is simply spectacular, and is a popular stop for locals and visitors alike.

A little history - The Church was destroyed two times by fire and then a hurricane. it was rebuilt in 1836. The interior has been maintained beautifully. Be sure to go out behind the Church - what a beautiful vista!
