The Crane has one of the best beaches we've ever been to. It truly is the jewel of The Caribbean. The staff are fabulous, the food is excellent. They have many facilities on sight. A general store, Cave Shepperd, Colombian Emeralds, Village cafe with excellent cappuccino. Many restaurants on site. A must stay for your island visit.

We had our 10th visit to the Crane Resort last week. The place is perfect for a great holiday. Staff is wonderful and much improved service from 2 years ago. Well done improvement.

The ocean side was more for wading and sunning. The sea side is the location for water activities. It is a bus or taxi ride away!

Lovely beach if you focus on the sea and don't look up at the hotel monstrosity behind the beach. It gets windy but that's part of the action. Hire some boards and ride the waves! Bring drinks and snacks

We came here after spending an awesome time at Carlisle Bay! We came around 4pm and stayed for an hour and half. We went through the resort and used the elevator to reach the beach. We paid $20 US for two beach chairs and an umbrella. It was extremely windy at that time and red flags were posted on the... More

Wonderful but busy Beach and a interesting treck along the rocks 🤔 you may want to enter via the elevator 😆 great place. Limited parking also but we'll worth a visit.

Our fourth visit to Crane Beach and it never disappoints. Gorgeous sand and clean. Great body surfing if the waves are not too high. If you aren't a strong swimmer, be careful of the undertow.

It's hard to find the beach, but if you do, the parking is limited. It's a nice walking down the cliff to get to the Beach. The sand is so soft and fine. The wave is strong, so definitely not a place for young children.

We strolled the manicured grounds of the famous cliff-top Crane, where I had stayed 21 years ago. Sadly, the historic Old Caribbean hotel is now part of a sprawling enclave of villas, complete with an elevator down to the pristine pink strand and rough surf, where we frolicked briefly. All beaches on Barbados remain public, with free parking.
