Bit of a walk from the bus stop. The beach was deserted, not a soul to be seen, cool and a little unsettling. No one told us that after labor day everything closed down. My husband and I enjoyed a nice swim took some pictures...More

Clearwater Beach has a nice local bar and access to bathrooms but the beach itself is just so-so. If you keep walking along the road you will end up in the Cooper Island Nature Preserve which is a wonderful and quiet area with great beaches...More

We had to leave our rental by 11 am and our flight wasn't until 3:30 pm so might as well take ONE MORE DIP... We had our more than friendly tour guide and taxi driver Robby Powell drop us off at Turtle Bay right beside...More

Visited this beach a couple of times on our holiday and found it to be quiet during the week but very busy at weekends. The beach itself is lovely with a nice view of St David's Lighthouse and of the planes landing or taking off...More

Well, we got dropped off and realized that there had been a shooting the night before(local gang) a rare thing but still...the restaurant was closed and you couldn't go into cooper island so we stayed on Clearwater and about an hour later the restaurant/bar opened....More

Beautiful pristine beaches. Nice and quiet, no rowdy crowds. Excellent fish sandwich at the restaurant. Toured the whole area of the smaller beaches next to it and the reserve, not a strenuos activity and well worth a visit. The water is nice and calm, great...More

best beach in my wife and I opinion on the entire island, the views are amazing and there are very few people there. Our absolute favorite and we rented a scooter and went to every popular beach on the island.

We love all the beaches in Bermuda but this series of beaches out on Cooper's Island are the very best. A little difficult to get to but well worth the effort. Clearwater, Turtle Bay, and Long Beach are never very crowded especially during the week....More

hi i too went to Bermuda via cruise.... and i love Clearwater beach.. my favorite.. because of the secluded area and private, clean, calm water.. see my review best way in my opinion.. is the way i did it.. via the public bus.. it was easy and cheap.. .. the wait time for bus can be long but from the Dock cruise area.. take the shuttle boat from Dock to St George....the other eastern side of the island from st george.. you can take #6 bus to clearwater beach.. 2nd to last stop.. last stop is Natural Reserve Park which is great hidden gem too i believe the last pickup from clearwater beach to st george or hamilton is around 5:15pm.. i did that too.. be sure not to miss it as it is far and isolated from main streets and quite a walk to get back to the main road. you can transfer for the 1,3,10,11 at the airport station bus stop for Hamilton downtown. enjoy

I will be arriving in Bermuda via cruise ship and want to visit Clearwater Beach. What is the best way to get there? Saw something about the Big Fun Bus and am not familiar with it from my other visits.
