We enjoy learning about history so everytime we visit Aruba we try to learn a little more about the history of the island.

Cute little area with lots of iguanas and view of the water. Next to the Renaissance Ocean Suites with a paved walkway that circles the Renaissance and corners the water.

Lovely small park named after the former Dutch Queen symbolising the Dutch colonialisation of this island. The whole island appears more Dutch than anything else, there are only small portions dedicated to former settlers whether by exploration of force.

Finally a place in Aruba where you can safely walk, run, jog, bike; with beautiful sights, from the airport to the Sea Port Mall or so. It is a great option specially with the sunset or sunrise, and so nice to just go walking with your dog.

Its just a small little memorial in the city. It is something to look at while you are visiting the shops in Oranjestad.

It's a small park next to city center with lunch cafes and souvenir stores. We had lunch twice there and liked the place: it's never hot thanks to breeze from the sea, and cafes are diverse with good options. We like The Dutch Pancake House (excellent pancakes, such as Country or Hawaiian) and Casa Tua (great pan fried grouper fillet... More

This park is clean and always accessible to the public and every day, there is some type of activity to enjoy. Families are constantly bringing their children to run around and be kids. Others bring their dogs to play and enjoy the park.

This is a well maintained and beautifully manicured park in Oranjestadt. A lovely statue of the queen is the centerpiece. Throughout the grounds iguanas of various sizes laze around sunning themselves. There are areas to sit and enjoy the cool breezes and paths to walk around.

I really like this park because it's got shade and iguanas. These things are all over the place but you need to use a zoom to get a photo because if you get to close they take off like a bottle rocket, so be warned about that, but they're not dangerous at all. I do suggest to take a quick... More
