Leave the cares of the world behind as you venture over to a private island...

Leave the cares of the world behind as you venture over to a private island complimentary to Renaissance Aruba Resort & Casino guests. Renaissance Island features Aruba’s only private beaches and is just an 8-minute water taxi ride away. Here lies a true oasis with family-friendly beaches or beaches just for adults. Pamper yourself at the private Spa Cove, play a game of beachtennis, sit down to the delicious lunch specials at Papagayo Bar & Grill or have a drink at our newly added Mangrove Beach Bar, or just lie back and let the sun caress you. A day on Renaissance Island is a day well spent.

This private island is for Renaissance ARUBA guests and the access is through a shuttle boat. Once you reach there, you will be welcomed with Pink Flamingos! They are too cute to be true. Don't be scared, but there are iguanas as well :( they are harmless though. The beach bar is very nice and they make the best strawberry... More

We loved Flamingo Beach but really thought the family-friendly side was more suited for us. It's more quite (even though kids are allowed on this side). Seemed a younger crowd on Flamingo Beach (we're in our 50's). Both sides are great but we just preferred the family-friendly side.

Just go here! ...and be sure to bring your camera! Tip: I read that you can go on a day trip for US$99. Book the Renaissance Resort & Casino (Marriott affiliated hotel) and you get to go for FREE! We got a room for 2 people for $200, only booked for 1 night and went to the island 2 days... More

Our group came here for a mothersday relaxing trip! You get to the island by boat and once you're on shore its an absolute paradise, flamingos and iguanas waking around. Very calming and relaxing atmosphere, you even get to feed the flamingos! Just bring some spare change and you'll be good. Got some drinks from the bar as well, came... More

Booked a ridiculously expensive couples massage in the private hut and lagoon. It was completely 100% worth it. The adult beach was quiet, the water calm, the drinks cold and the view unbelievable. Been coming to Aruba for 15 or so years and never did the island. Don't know that I'd do it every trip, but for a special occasion,... More

In short: remote island next to the airstrip. There's 2 sides. One side for childeren and one side for adults. The adult part holds the flamingo's. There's lizards and iguana's al over the Island. There are bars with service to your worn down beach bed. There's a free towel service, snorkling stuff and floatation stuff can be rented. The food... More

This private island is amazing! The beach is gorgeous with crystal clear water. The adults only side has flamingos roaming around and little beach cabanas over the water. The boat ride is a short 15 minutes away and you just show your room key when boarding. For those of you with motion sickness, you do not feel a thing. This... More

I decide to come to Aruba after hearing about the Flamingo beach on Renaissance Island private beach. We stayed in Renaissance Aruba so that we can get free boat ride into the island. To get to the private island owned by Renaissance Aruba, you have to take a speed boat right in front of the Starbuck coffee. The boarding area... More

For almost fifteen years now we've been coming to Aruba and the Renaissance Island. We've just spend three weeks in April at the Renaissance Resort & Casino and visited Renaissance Island and the restaurant Papagayo every day to enjoy the beach, the great facilities and the food. And every day, no matter what, we were always welcomed with delicious food... More
