Great visit. Terrific staff. Food is outstanding. Spa is top-notch. Treated like family. Superb location on a cove with good waves. Will return.

This is a beautiful secluded beach, worth spending some time on. It is fairly rough with a large shore break by Caribbean standards, so not very swimmer friendly, but worth the visit.

take a taxi there, get a chair and umbrella and enjoy the natural beauty og Galley bay. there's a little beach to the left that opens up over the rock to this beautiful new world to have to enjoy virtually alone

We stopped here on a private sailing charter. The beach had about 6 people on it, the sand is powder soft and the water is so warm. Although you cannot snorkel here as visibility is not great, the views make up for it. You need...More

Georgous beach! When not too wavy there is good snorkeling on the right side of the beach around the cove to deep bay

Great beach with beautiful white sand. Can be quite rough at times with large waves. Access via five islands village

We drove around the whole island and found this beach. Pretty beach but hard to swim due to rocks but we did hang out for awhile.

I believe this is the most beautiful beach in Antigua. Even though there is a hotel there, it has been in existence for 50 years and has remained low key so does not take away from the wildness and beauty of the beach. I do...More

Beautiful beach cove with a long dock to get into the water. Great spot for snorkeling. Beautiful view . Shells on the beach, urchins in the coral.

My wife and I spent a week at the Galley Bay resort, separately reviewed, and that meant we had a front row seat to enjoy this gorgeous piece of Antigua for that entire period of time. Clearly, this is not an ideal spot for people...More

I need to know if I can visit the beach if I'm not staying at the hotel. I understand the beach is public but I don't know where to park and where to access the beach. Does anyone on the beach rent loungers and/or umbrellas?

Sorry for the delay, hopefully it's not too late. So here's the scoop: YES - the beach is officially a public beach. However.... 1) It's not easy to get in. There is an entrance/path that allows access to the beach... More

Hello, I understand all beaches are public but how do we access the beach? Where do we park if we are not staying at the hotel? Last trip I tried to go to Gall Bay Beach but everything was so secure and there where no places to park and find a path to the beach. Please advise.
