Our cruise ship docked here and the welcome is chaotic and bustling with thousands of people mingling around. On the spur of the moment we took up the offer of a guide to take a bus tour around the island. Do not be misled by...More

Shopping down by where the cruise ships come in. Thought there would be local crafters. Instead I found overpriced tourist junk. Skip it!

When you arrive on a cruise ship this is one of the first places you will enter when coming off the main port docking jetty. There's a really good welcome, giving out Antigua & Barbuda towels for free, a steel band and ladies dancing dressed...More

Docked here while on cruise ship, few tourist shops all selling the same stuff, lots of haseling taxi drivers, tour operators and hair braiders. Fortunately I was booked on a Mystic catamaran trip.

Second stop on our cruise. All the vendors have the same stuff, but each one thinks theirs is better. I realize this is probably their only source of income, but don't like all beggar type vendors selling their stuff. We took a tour of the...More

We took a bus to Heritage Quay because I wanted to do some shopping. I didn't particularly enjoy going here. The sellers at the store huts didn't want to give me any deals and were asking too much for their items. The only place that...More

The docks with a nicely maintained boardwalk even after Huricane Irma & Maria was a pleasant surprise. Heritage Quay looks a lot cleaner and maintained since our last visit 3 years ago. Having booked a car from Budget in the past we did the same...More
