We were on a trip to climb several country high points in the Caribbean. Nick picked us up at the airport and we headed towards Boggy Peak. We were able to drive up a dirt road, then make the short hike to the top of Antigua. Nick was a terrific host. He taught us some of the local language and familized us with Antigua. Although we were only together for a few hours, it's evident that Nick loves the outdoors, cares about the environment and has a very friendly personality. It seemed everywhere we went, people knew Nick. Thanks for a great trip!

It's all in the name. The guides Nick and Julien were so happy and friendly it was infectious. I did the trail from Pillars of Hercules to Mermaid Gardens to Carpenter's Rock and finally Shirley Heights. Such beautiful scenery during the hike. The water at Mermaid Gardens rock formations was like nothing I had ever experienced before. The guides knew so much about Antigua and the trails. The delicious banana bread and lime aid at the end was the perfect sweet ending to an awesome hike.

My husband, 11 year old daughter and I signed up for this hike. We hiked 1 mile through the rain forest to Signal Hill (1 mile back). Once you get to the highest peak, the views are breathtaking. You can see the south side of the island and then you will hike another short distance and look over the north side. Nicholas was courteous and had so much history of the island to share with us! We basically had a private tour since it was just the 4 of us. He asks you in advance what type of views or type of hike you are interested in. I am not certain all the different options but this was perfect for us! The snack at the end (banana bread made by his grandmother) was wonderful!

The hikes we did with Nick and happy heights were the best part of our stay on Antigua. We saw so much more of the island and learned things we would never have got if we had stayed by the sea. Nick is the perfect hike guide and tour host - charming, hugely energetic, funny and so knowledgeable, he shared his love of the island at every turn. And the hikes? It’s AMAZING to get to the heart of nature on Antigua. We booked two hikes - to rendezvous bay one morning then to boggy peak - and enjoyed them so much we then did a third. Totally recommend nick and these very happy very relaxed relaxed hikes.

Our family of 4 adults hiked up Boggy Peak with Nicholas on New Years Day. What a great start to 2020! The hike is pretty strenuous, but not too long, on paved and gravel paths. Nicholas commented that this wouldn’t be his first choice for a hike because the views are not as good as others, but we wanted to hike the tallest hill on the island and he made it super enjoyable. Nicholas was a joy to spend time with. We all enjoyed his positive spirit and lightheartedness, and his knowledge and respect for Antigua culture and history. His homemade limeade and snacks at the end were a nice touch! We wish him all the best and would highly recommend!
