Island Safari and Stingray Fantasy Antigua

13 reviews
Get up close and personal with the wildlife of Antigua on this 4-hour combination safari tour and Stingray City visit. Start your excursion with a backcountry ride through the lush countryside of Antigua in a 4x4 Land Rover Defender, as you look to observe exotic plants and animals not visible anywhere else on the island. Then complete your wildlife exploration with a trip to Stingray City, where you’ll get to swim and feed some of these fascinating (and gentle) marine animals. Your wildlife adventure also includes a guide, lunch, beverages and round-trip transportation from your hotel.

What a beach, beautiful white sands clear blue sea. Loungers to hire and a great beach bar serving some lovely cold drinks and food. We stayed for sun set which was one of the best we saw.

Traveling during a pandemic has its pros. I had this beach to myself. It’s beautiful, but was bummed that everything was closed. We took an island tour and beach hopped. All of the beaches on this island are beautiful you don’t necessarily have to travel to all of them. But it was nice for a change of scenery

Besides the immediate company I experienced this beach with, the beach is beautiful and a perfect place to swim, lay out, snorkel and there is a little restaurant/bar if you get hungry or thirsty. Wind is blocked on that side of the island. Some days were a little crowded for spurts of time while cruise ship people had a few hours to burn. I will go back again but this time leave the bad seed dude behind.

We though we'd take the children to DarkwoodBay as was told there was an inflatable playground in the sea..They enjoyed this although i slashed open my foot on one of the climing ropes...We positioned ourselves under one of the permanent umbrellas but was surrounded by smokers...and it was really crowded..also jet skis go too fast close to the beach where u are trying to swim.If you want idyllic Antigua then go elsewhere..its not here and the restaurant was very average..Half Moon Bay is so much nicer
