I have visited Prickly Pear twice. Once was during an excursion from my hotel in St. Maarten, the second was during a yacht ride from Anguilla. I don't know if there are hotel accommodations on this small island but people dock there to have lunch,...More

Amazing food! This was our 3rd time to the island. The restaurant is only open on certain days so make sure to verify that ahead of time. The food is amazing & the offer generous portions!

We went on an excursion and we had a blast. Best beaches ever with amazing sandy beaches. Good snorkeling. You have to charter a boat to go there though.

We moored our boat off Prickly Pear Cay and honestly just expected to lay on a beach and do some snorkeling. We were quite shocked to find a nice little beach bar and phenomenal food out there. Allan is a very funny man and has...More

Besides the staff, we were the only ones at Prickly Pear first thing in the morning. Really enjoyed sitting at the little bar hut and visiting with Alan. We had a delicious lobster lunch, wandered around and did a bit of snorkeling. A very unique...More

Loved Prickly Pear when we came with a tour. There's 2 restaurants and bars on the island and lots of room to wander around the beach exploring. Beautiful place and would recommend it.

I highly recommend Sail Chocolat with Captain Rollins. We had a lovely sail to Prickly Pear and although the snorkeling left a lot to be desired (the reef seems dead and there are few fish and way too many catamarans coming from St. Martin with...More

There is. I went on a boat out of Simpson Bay. The Boat crew is fantastic. Open bar of the boat and they supply lunch too. LAMBADA TO PRICKLY PEAR & ANGUILLA through a company called Aqua Mania Adventures
Is Prickly Pear always crowded around lunch time? Are there better days/times to visit that are less crowded?

Early morning is very quiet, the boats come in around 11. Saturday is the the least busy day. The rest of the time it all depends on the tour bookings for a particular day. There could be 20 persons or there could be 70. Or... More
