The stained glass and statues make this church very solemn. It is not as big as other cathedrals but still makes you want to contemplate. There is not much commercial activity on the grounds of this cathedral, unlike other popular churches.
The church is nice. The retablo is gloriously beautiful. When we came there was a visiting image of the Blessed Virgin. Many groups came to make a pilgrimage. Remember to bring change to use the toilet
The cathedral is located in a very busy area. Roads are narrow so expect moderate flow of traffic. There is ample parking within the church premises.
