If you are in Kew, then come here for an eye-popping display of one woman's paintings from all around the world. It is really amazing and an unexpected delight in the gardens.

Only go in if you like plant paintings or wish to escape the rain, the next door gallery is also very interesting

This is a most see gallery. There are wall to wall pictures painted by a most amazing woman of her time. Will be going again as I don't think I took it all in.

The Gardens open at 10 am and it was quite quiet then with some buildings not opening till later. The MN Gallery is near Victoria Gate entrance. If you intend to visit the park and see most of it on foot (or train) you can... More

Any time is a good time, but keep in mind that Kew Gardens, where it is located, attracts many tourists so I would stay away from the summer months. As for parking, I take the tube so I really don't know.
