Relatively small free car park but plenty on the roadside and only a short walk from big parking near the beach. Couple of big items outside and a beachcraft in the windows.
Museum consists of many small exhibit display cases and posed model scenes.
Seems as if ALL the sites in this area have a museum! Just so many of them. Free car park and lots of spaces here. Walked on the beach and imagined what occurred here. Had some extra time so we did the museum. It has...More
Plenty of artefacts from the landings with plenty of photographs I had not seen before. The beach is well worth a visit to realise just how immense the landing would have been to cover the beach end to end

when we where visiting Omaha beach we saw this museum and took a visit. The museum is small but shows nice materials used during the 2nd worldwar. At the end a movie shows some background on the invasion.
The movie was great and they had a lot of amazing memorabilia. Be sure to take time to read about the weaponry and other items. Very interesting! We really enjoyed our visit. We spent an hour or two here.
