A quick and easy highlight to your trip

Exactly what you see on the pics. Defo with a visit as it only takes 2 mins. This is private property do you can’t access house. Just pull up outside and snap some pics

The search for the Graggy Island house

We used to love watching Father Ted back in New Zealand, when we came to Ireland, I said we had to find the house, it wasn’t easy as there is no access to it, but we trusted the Navman as it took us down smaller and smaller roads, to a rough shod path and then down a grassy track, and then we saw the house in all its glory. We did not intrude, we snapped a few photos and happily went on our way.

Great to finally see the house.

We visited here while in the area. It was great to finally see the famous house after watching the TV series for over 25 years. It is quite remote but worth the trip. Delighted to have been there.

Father Ted House in the Burren

We are big fans of the TV series Father Ted and we were going to the Burren national park and this place is pretty much in the middle of the park although it's a bit tricky to find without a satnav to guide you. It's still a working farm and it's private property so you don't drive up to the house but you can take a look and photograph it from the road. It used to be very busy with the fans but it's probably faded a bit over the years so not sure if they are still getting lots of people visiting now.

It was a long distance look at the house but still nice to see. We had some fun interactions with other people and it was an enjoyable experience.

Love the old Father Ted show!

Once I knew it was in the area I had to stop for photos.
Remember, this is a privately owned dwelling, and the road is pretty narrow, so be careful.
Took a few good pix though and was quite pleased.

Good photo opportunity. Very nice day so after a trip to the Burren we stopped off to get a picture at the house. No where to park as it’s just a private property.

Just drove past here by accident after a trip to the Burren National Park and knew straight away it had to be Father Ted's house. Stopped off and got a photo.
