One of the oldest buildings of the inwall old city. Old wall paintings, a legend of knight Templar that is buried somewhere in the building but the place unknown ( with secret maps? gold of the Order?) and you can feel inside as at year 1100 AC.

Beautiful church, spooky crypt
Jul 2016 • Family
Well worth a visit this church overlooks the Piazza Gentili and contains some great artwork amidst spectacular architecture - and it isn't swarming with people with selfie sticks!
The crypt has some amazing frescos but we all felt weird down there - hairs sticking up and the like!

Onion dome
Feb 2016 • Couples
The church is not only exceptionally pretty but also very unusual. The onion dome is strange for one, at least in this part of Italy, and the striking, ornate brick (or is it tile?) screen-like top part of the facade is also completely unlike anything else in the area. We didn't have time for more than a few minutes inside. There's a beautiful fresco in a niche on the west wall to the left of the door. We'll have to go back.
