Self guided tour with stunning views of Tintern

Taking a walk up the steep vineyard was well worth it as we got to see amazing views over Tintern. Sampling the wines in the summer sun was also very enjoyable.

We decided to kill some time while waiting for parking space at the Old Railway Station for afternoon tea. We parked the car at the pub and decided to walk up a very large hill hoping to see a shop that would sell locally produced food. This place is very charming they sell everything from food to drink to plants.... More

Arrived eventually, very difficult to spot entry pint.. Very sharp turn up what looks like a footpath to what should be a Carpark! Only to find it was not open.

We had seen the vineyard from a distance on a south facing hill overlooking Tintern. Owner welcomed us at the little shop and we tasted 3 of the wines, bought 2, plus some plant pots. We then spent 30 mins on the self guided tour of the vineyard, quite a steep climb but well worth it for a sit down... More

We popped in today as we passed through Tintern after visiting the abbey. The lady was very informative and invited us to sample a selection of their award winning wines. We bought some to take home so were glad we popped in. The only thing to note is the access track which is very narrow and steep, and could do... More

This was an accidental find - but a good one! I was visiting the local area and seen the sign and decided to visit. On arrival, I was introduced to the vineyard by Judith. She was a lovely lady and offered me tasters of their delicious and interesting wines. Prices are very affordable. I highly recommend visiting and will definitely... More

Having tasted the delicious rose at Tudor Farmhouse Restaurant on 2 evenings, we thought we would have a look as we were passing down the Wye Valley towards Tintern. Do go. It is only 1 south facing hectare and produces a red, white and a rose - all of them award winning, but you can't find the wine in shops.... More

Parva Farm Vineyard is a very interesting place to visit. Not only do they hold tours & wine tasting ( which they have won many awards for ) But they also have livestock. At Easter-time they open their doors to the public so they can come & see all the new little lambs. There is a small shop on site... More

I enjoyed visiting Parva Farm. The owner was friendly, the wine was lovely. The view was well worth it. It's only £1.50 for the self guided tour. The owner happy to let you sample several of the wines, I loved them all. She was helpful answering all of my questions.

The walk around the vineyard costs £1.50 and as long as you are fit enough to walk up hills is a beautiful little walk with interesting facts posted around the vines. Lovely views from the top... Sheep were friendly- learned quite a bit about what can go wrong with the vines...The lady who is in the 'shop' is very pleasant... More
