Foremans Cottage is a stylish and sophisticated retreat on Lunan Bay Beach. It has been featured in many glossies and with its 3 bedrooms, one with ensuite roll top, drench showers, and open fireplaces and log burner, it is ideal for a romantic break, families and a get away from it all break. The beach at Lunan is idyllic all year round.

Love visiting this beach anytime of the year but have to say that a sunny day is our preference. Long stretch of beautiful sand and delightful dunes to clamber up and down. Great spot for dog walking....do remember to pick up after your pooch. Even...More

Got married on Lunan Bay and it was amazing. Beautiful sand and it feels like you are the only people on the sand. We got married in the rain but the sun came out and we were the only people on the beach. Twenty two...More

I have visited a number of beaches in Scotland, both on the W and E coasts. Lunan Bay is along the E coast, 20min from Arbroaths, which is near Dundee. A semi-remote beach, which its own charms (though nothing like the remote beachs along the...More

Just had our 3rd visit to this fab beach. The sand dunes provide hours of entertainment for the kids, it's even worth bringing your sledges to make the descent faster. Although it's a relatively quiet location there's always something going on; a horse or two...More

We hadn't been in years. It's a bit of a drive for us, but well worth it. Easy to get parked (out of season, I imagine it would be busy on a hot summers day). Nice to see a cafe had been built since our...More

You won't be disappointed with the views. What a lovely beach. First time I've been there and although it was February, we saw some young people going in for a paddle. It would be a great place for kids and I just love to be...More

What an excellent place to go to with your family. Keeps kids amused for hours. However if having a picnic make sure the you keep the food wrapped unless you want to try it with sand.

I saw a website that said Lunan Bay is a pink sand beach. Is that true?
