not really a nice walk

the place is nice , not the people , we feel that we are here to do the horse riding as quickly as possible and give them the money, not even a tiny possible connection with the horse, we don't get to see them and choose them first, everyone is at the same level meaning you don't have the liberty to ride properly, such as galloping or even trot

Amazing experience

We went on a private ride with our 7 year old daughter and had an amazing time. The horses were beautiful and really well behaved, and the scenery stunning. Our guide Damaste was really friendly and informative and made us all feel relaxed from the start. I would I definitely recommend this experience and look forward to coming back again next time we are in Comporta.

Wonderful guides in a stunning location. We felt very safe the whole time. The stables are gorgeous and it’s such a unique experience. I can’t say enough good things about the guides, facility, the tour, the horses, etc. my children ages 20, 11, and 8 all enjoyed themselves even though only one is an experienced rider. They made the other two feel very safe. Definitely recommend

Expensive, not that fun, good staff

The most expensive horse (with lots of flies) ride you can have.

Too hot, not fun at all, horses walking on the beach at 0,5 miles / hour expensive for what it is and friendly staff.

Hi. We are very sorry you didnt fully enjoyed the experience. These prices are justified due to all the care our team has to take regarding health and feeding of the animals. Our animals are monitored by veterinarians constantly, so that they can have a healthy life. As for flies, it's something we can't control.

A Must in Comporta

Simply unforgettable! Service is excellent, horses are very docile, guides are professional and friendly. Our daughters (12 and 9) loved it (we ended up going 3 times).

We ride through the ride fields and dunes of Comporta, ending on the beach. The landscape is breathtaking. We loved the vegetation, the dunes, everything.

They cater to both beginner and advanced. In fact they say that 90% of riders have never been on a horse before.

Horse riding on the beach

It is still one of the few beaches untouched by the civilization that you have the chance to experience riding a horse. Definitely recommend. The prices are expensive for the local cost of living, but a personal perspective should be considered. Take the day and enjoy the comporta beach and try one of the good local restaurants. Even if you do not ride, do not worry, the horses now the way, very gentle and you can enjoy the view without any stress.

Beautiful and memorable experience

The "tour" was very beautiful, with landscaped views both to the beach and the rice fields. Suitable for unexperienced riders (as I am). Nice staff.

We loved every minute, horse riding through Comporta. The guides are super helpful and the dedication put into this service is visible. Major props to the camera crew as well, they take amazing shots. Surely something I'd like to repeat.

Best ride ever! Simply amazing

Riding over the dunes and seeing the ocean and Comporta beach, riding in the water. Priceless. My daughters and I loved it. We went three times. Service is super friendly and safe.

Ride with a view

The horses are super cared, which is truly important. Staff really nice, welcoming and professional. The landscapes are amazing (the beach and the sea have both incredible colors, the same for the paddy fields). A bit expansive (€ 70,00) but it’s worth it.
The only weakness is about how long it takes to us to have an answer: we wrote by email, WhatsApp, Instagram and tried to call but we got an answer only 2 days later. So be sure to call them a few days before you go.
