Great part of day trip. Small boat cruise was very nice and interesting. Blue grotto is amazing and definitely worth to see! Malta’s must do!

I had a very nice time visiting the Blue Grotto. I was able to see this attraction as apart of one of the hop on/hop off tours of Malta. The bus dropped us off at the base near some restaurants, so we had to hike...More

We’ve taken this 20-minute boat ride five time so far, the kids love it, the boats leave frequently, they’re all equipped with life jackets, the captains provide the passengers with some brief info about the caves and area. The boats don’t run if the sea...More

We stopped here whilst on the south bus tour. You need to get off the bus and do the boat trip to really see what blue grotto is all about. It cost €8 per person and lasted about 30mins. You will see all the caves...More

The Blue Grotto is definitely a must-see in Malta. With the car this location can be easily reached from Valetta in about 40 min, and the view already gets beautiful while still on the road. The boat trip is for sure worth the ride, and...More

Take the bus 71, 72, or 74 from Valetta terminal and go to the stop named Panorama. (Or alternatively bus 201 from Rabat to Qrendi.) Just 500m down along the road and you are in small picturesque village Qrendi. 8 euro 45minutes long boat tours...More

Grotto is really blue, like you would see on photos. Boat tours are well organized, are not expensive and last about 30 mins. I recommend take Sightseeing buses South rout (there are two different companies) to visit this place, since public transport is less convineint.

Bus 74 is going directly from Valetta to Blue Grotto (Valetta A5 - Panorama). Google Maps works pretty good as traveling guide👍
