About
Exquisite historic river with springs along the busy Via Flamina is this oasis of tranquility and calm. Virgil wrote of its natural beauty where the Emporer Caligula came to worship the River God Clitunno and consult the ancient oracles. One of my favorite places to visit for its serene natural beauty coupled with its ancient origins.

Nature and relax
Aug 2021
After a tough day of cultural tourism all across Umbria, my parents and me came to this little oasis of peace and nature. It was fun to walk near the water and relax on the lawn… the only weaknesses were the heat and the insects! Apart from that, very nice.

Beautiful but you can see it from the road nicely.
Sep 2019 • Couples
For a €3 pp entry fee you can walk around the Springs - it is very peaceful in there —- but it is not a big park . You can virtually see it all from the road . So if you aren’t wanting a slow walk around a little lake - have a look before you pay the money. They are also doing repairs on a bridge - so you had to turn back and retrace your steps .

Stunning!
Jul 2018 • Friends
I was really surprised how clean, bright and limpid water I saw. The river Clitunno starts there and they still hold it in its natural beauty.

Unbelievable Crystal Clear Waters
Jun 2018 • Couples
A wonderful place to wander around & the crystal clear waters take your breath away they are so magnificent . Clitumnus was a river God who dispensed his oracles from the depths of the waters . It is an oasis of natural beauty & peace filled with colour and light and we fell in love with it .

Lovely day so booked to sit outside which is definitely worth doing. Good food and service generally good although we did wait a long time for the bill in fact we went inside to pay as we were in bit of a hurry

Nice walk around some ponds fet by clear springs - Nothing really special for 10 Euros
May 2018 • Couples
10 Euros is a lot to gain entry to a park with paths leading around some shallow lakes fed by very clear spring water. There was one swan and some ducks and i saw one fish. We stopped there to kill time, have a bathroom break and grab a quick lunch. You could o these things without entering the park.

Unbelievable entry fee.
Apr 2018 • Couples
It is a garden, with a pond in the middle. Just like other thousands (free) spread all over Italy. It does not worth the money; it does not worth the trip. If you are in the neighborhood… do not waste your time visiting this place.

If you need to breathe a bit of tranquility, it's the perfect place
Aug 2017 • Family
Very quiet place. Perfect for everyone, you can go alone or in company. There are swans and various kinds of paper. You walk and enjoy nature. They are also working on expanding the area. Everything is very nice.
