We r at Ford Pickens Campground for 2 weeks. Peaceful campground Nice bathhouse. Across the road from the Gulf (beautiful white sand beaches) not crowded. Near many restaurants and other shops. This morning the Blue Angels flew over camp ground.

We just drove through this time, but will return! It is great that our government has preserved this area - we enjoyed seeing the birds and wildlife.

Such an amazing place. My boyfriend and I have completely different interests. He loves to read and absorbs information like a sponge whereas, I like to physically do things and be hands on as opposed to reading but this was really cool. There's lots of...More

We toured Fort Pickens one afternoon during vacation. It was interesting especially for history lovers. The grounds was well kept. The price was reasonable. We enjoyed fishing in this area a lot

Beaches are beautiful and don't miss a Tour of Fort Pickens...sooooo much history! Beware of the "quick sand-like" terrain off the pavement, very dangerous and tires easily stuck! Great pictures for family reunions, engagements and weddings! Sunsets are amazing...

We took our kids for a break from the beach and so glad we did. What an experience to walk around a fort that was built so long ago! Take water it's hot and you do some walking and climbing but so worth it.

We were there in late October. It was cool, but we were still able to comfortably walk the beach. We didn't swim, but still enjoyed our time there.

The sign read dogs not allowed, however we saw a few people with their dogs that weren't service dogs. Sorry that's not super clear.
