This was our absolute favorite place to go to the beach but you have to get there early or all the parking will be taken!! Spend one day relaxing in the sun and another watching sharks swim to the shoreline!

Gulf Islands National Seashore has been on our list of places to visit. We were not disappointed with the white sand, natural beauty, and cleanliness of this backdrop against the emerald waters of the Gulf. If you want to spend beach time with privacy and...More

This was the most gorgeous beach I have ever been too and I have been to many including Jamaica, Cozumel, Grand Cayman, Bahamas and all over the USA. I kept saying "this is so beautiful"

This is one of those places that you just have to see to believe and Gulf Islands National Seashore is the best place to do it. From 19th century forts to sugar white sand and clear water it doesn’t get any better in North America.

Blue-green water in the Gulf to your left and deep blue water in the Bay to your right as you drive down the scenic and historic Fort Pickens Road. Lots to see and great for the whole family!

This is a good look at what Florida beaches once looked like. The park service has done a good job of keeping it look natural. A great job the park service. Thanks

A little west of Destin is Gulf Islands National Seashore. It is definitely secluded, and the sand is soft and white. Because there are picnic shelters and bathrooms, you could spend a day here if you wanted to. I was... More
