This hike is around three miles round trip, with a moderate incline up to a viewpoint for beautiful views. There are also lovely views on the way to the viewpoint. During the summer, hike early, as it gets very hot, and there is almost no...More

We started this 3 mile roundtrip hike in the late afternoon, but it was just too hot to finish! Do this one in the morning, as the views of the canyon are washed out by afternoon. The trail is winding and uphill most of the...More

We did this hike at the end of a long driving day. It was the perfect excuse to be outside. The sun was setting as we were on top and the view were beautiful. It was right next to the watchman and south campground, don't...More

Wonderful views, early hike best in warmer weather. Does have some narrow, steep rocky points. Hiking shoes and poles helpful if you are not as strong in the legs as you would like to be.

We hiked this trail the morning of Saturday May 6. It is a great hike! The wildflowers were in bloom (& hopefully still are), changing with each turn and change in altitude. A beautiful show! The day was overcast, nice because there was no morning...More

Delightful walk, easy gradients and spectacular views of some of the highest sandstone cliffs in America, unto 2000ft. But you don't need to climb high to see them. A perfect short trail for the evening and not crowded, we saw just a handful of walkers.

We ended our trip with this hike. It's about two hours and not nearly as punishing as Angels Landing, East Rim, et al. Great view from the bottom of the canyon looking up, which is opposite of most views

This is a pretty mellow trail by Zion standards. There is some climbing, but the views make it worth the steps! At the top, there are beautiful views of the surrounding area. We did this on our first afternoon in the park and it was...More
