We really enjoyed this hike, lots of twists and turns and scenic views. The trail is quite narrow in some places, and you walk quite close to the drop-off, but we felt it was safe enough.

The end of the trail rewards you with great views of Zion Canyon. Parking was limited, but we were able to park after just a few minutes (in November). There are some steep parts, and some narrow parts without railings, so one in our party who is not fond of heights had some difficulty in spots. Some narrow parts had... More

The trail ends with a fantastic view of Zion Canyon. There are several places where the path gets narrow and there are many steps as the trail is a gradual uphill trek. As a bonus we saw big horned sheep on the cliffs beyond a couple of the railings - they were obviously used to humans gawking at them.

This trail offers amazing views of the canyon. We went for sunset but arrived a little late. We arrived an hour before sunset but the sun had already disappeared over the canyon so photos were a bit dark. If you want to see the sun over the canyon aim for earlier. The trail isn't too hard but is unpaved and... More

If you can, try to enter Zion from the east entrance. Not only is it not nearly as crowded as the west entrance, it has opportunities to stop and poke around as one cannot on the other side due to vehicle restrictions: the valley floor for most all the year is available only by shuttle. The east side provides access... More

This trail was great. There were a couple narrow places with drop offs but if you stay focuesed on where you are walking, you should be fine. The views are amazing and the caves are kind of cool too.

We decided to do this at the last minute. It was a total of 40 min RT hike. Its a little strenuous with cliffs on the side, but is a must do due to the beautiful views. Try going in the evening just before dusk to get good pictures. Highly recommended for a short visit to Zion.

This biggest challenge to his hike is finding a place to park. The small main parking area is just outside the West Tunnel Entrance ... maybe a dozen cars ... east of that parking lot are a few large pullout parking areas that can handle maybe 8-10 cars. These spots fill up fast due to the popularity of the hike.... More

What a beautiful view we encountered at the end of this trail. It is the best! The trail is ok. There is a particular area, after the wooden bridge that has no rail but one just stays very near the wall. Some areas where big drops are, have either chains to hold on to or bars. If you are scared... More
