We took the trail for the overview but the hike to get there was interesting enough to recommend. Many vistas on the way over and up. You travel through micro-climates and end on a vast expanse of rock. How close you want to saddle up to the edge?

Moderately difficult hike for me (and I'm nearly 50 and NOT in the best shape lol) My 17 year old found it Easy - This 1 mile (there and back) hike was our favorite of the week. Great views, not too difficult and our pictures were amazing!

I went on this hike in January with a friend. We loved it. Beautiful views and fun little hike. The bad part is that there are a few section that when there is snow it's very hard if you don't have the right equipment. But still worth it.

We had a little time left so we pulled over before the tunnel and walked the canyon overlook trail. Saw a family of big horn sheep and a great view down the canyon without a lot of work or time.

Really interesting and pretty easy walk. You walk up the side of a canyon - some drop offs but well guarded - and then appear on a high ledge looking down into the canyon. Limited parking so get there early / car park on right as you exit the tunnel.

We hiked this somewhat scary ( for Seniors) trail. Rewarded with a fabulous view at the end. Definitely worth it.

Completed this trail with my finance. It's not too strenuous and lots of steps in the beginning. Short hike and totally worth it. There are some narrow areas so always be curious and always wear proper shoes as you should with any hike. I saw people of all ages on this trail, we were lucky enough to run into some... More

When traversing the trail, we realized that this is also used by the mountain goats and so we had several encounters with them, which just added to the adventure. The trail in February was icy in some places, so some care is required. However, it is very doable and has some other interesting features which makes the trek quite enjoyable.... More

I would rate this the 2nd best hike in Zion behind the narrows. Couldn't do angels landing because of ice. This view is awesome. You're standing on top of the great arch at the end. Not strenuous but does require good balance in places. Definitely worth the hour of hiking time.

This hike is an absolute must for all ages when visiting Zion. This slightly challenging short hike can be navigated by anyone, just where good shoes and take your time. The views are well worth the effort. As a bonus we came across a herd of big horn sheep.
