My husband & I stopped here on our Skyline Drive, I wanted to get some post cards and a souvenir shirt. I was disappointed in the selection for women, I expected more. The view from there is gorgeous though.

Nice place to stop to use the restroom. Talk to staff to get info on the park. Buying souvenirs, makes good sense to buy the $35 individual Shenandoah National Park Annual Membership and save 20% on what you purchase in the park for a year....More

Had an awesome time visiting this visitor center. It is a great starting point for a walk to Fox Hollow and the Snead barn. There are great views from the back lawn. Staff are very friendly and helpful. :)

A favorite stop along the way. The history lesson inside helped you to understand the area more. Awesome valley views. Just gorgeous.

Great place to stop and take in the history of the park and how it all began. There is a beautiful museum displaying how it got started, and a gift shop.

If you begin your trip at the beginning of the Skyline Drive in Front Royal, Va, then this is a good place to start. There is a small exhibit, and gift shop. Speak to the rangers and they will steer you in the right direction.
